But, if I'm less anxious about the future today than I was last year, I'd say that's a step in the right direction.
And, if I find myself growing in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, I am probably going in the right direction.

But, I will never arrive in this lifetime.
I think that the way I know my faith is growing is when I continue to understand how much I need to depend on God. I am so inadequate on my own.
